Moss Expedition Team is a membership-based subscription founded by Jeff Moss, son of legendary tent designer Bill Moss. Each month, members receive a curated box featuring heritage-inspired gear, tools, apparel, and Moss-branded artifacts designed for outdoor explorers and lovers of timeless design.
Each Moss Box includes 4–8 handpicked items, depending on your plan. Think: quality tools, wearable gear, exclusive Moss-branded apparel, and pieces of design history — curated to surprise and inspire.
- Small Box: 4–5 items / lighter gear, lifestyle items
- Big Box: 6–8 items / includes premium gear, apparel, archival content
Each box is crafted to deliver story, function, and the spirit of exploration.
You can join directly via our homepage. During Beta and Founding Member phases, spots are limited to ensure quality and personalization. Once subscribed, you'll receive a welcome email and link to shape your Member Profile.
After subscribing, you’ll complete a Member Profile where you can tell us more about your style, interests, and preferences. This helps us personalize your monthly box while still keeping the mystery alive.

Everything. Moss is built on 70+ years of legacy design. Every item is thoughtfully selected or custom-designed in partnership with makers and creators who align with the Moss philosophy: timelessness, utility, and design that tells a story.
Boxes ship once per month. Orders placed before the 1st of the month are included in that month's shipment. Orders placed on or after the 1st will roll over to the next month’s shipment.
Yes! Gifting is now available. You can send a Moss Box to a friend or fellow adventurer during checkout. If you add a second box to your account as a gift, you’ll receive 20% off that second box as a launch special.
Shipping is added at checkout and depends on your location:
- European Union: $29.99/month
- United States: $39.99/month
- Asia & Rest of World: Calculated at checkout based on carrier
We currently ship to most countries worldwide. If you’re unsure whether we can reach you, reach out to our support team before subscribing.
Yes. You can pause, skip a box, or cancel anytime via your account dashboard. We ask that any changes be made before the 1st of the month to apply to the current cycle.
Due to the curated and limited-edition nature of the Moss Box, we do not offer returns or exchanges unless an item is damaged or defective. If that happens, please reach out to our team within 7 days of receiving your box and we’ll make it right.
Yes — you’ll have the option to skip any month’s box right from your account dashboard. No questions asked.
